A 'Signature Event' Celebrating the 125th Anniversary of Fall River County and Hot Springs!
Presented by the Fall River County Historical Society, Saturday, January 12, 2008
Membership is not required to attend this important history conference.
Mueller Center, 801 South 6th, Hot Springs, SD. Registration/Sign-in: 8:30 A. M.;
Program begins at 9:15 with National Anthem. Conference concludes at 3:15 P.M. followed by a 15 minute annual meeting of the Fall River County Historical Society. Members are encouraged to attend.

Pioneer Harvest Day:

9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
$1.00 per person, plus non-perishable food item for the Hot Springs Food Pantry
Enjoy a day at the Pioneer Museum of Hot Springs, SD! Bring your antiques as an antique appraiser will be available to evaluate your "treasures". Appraiser hours are 9:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. and 1:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M., with a $1.00 fee for each item appraised. All fees benefit the Pioneer Museum or the Hot Springs Food Pantry. Entertainment scheduled throughout the day includes the Oral Taste Buddies, Sandstone Singers, Lynn Mason's music students, Valerie and Tracy Bastian, and Dave Love (a bagpiper). Barb Sharp will demonstrate quilting, and Judy Cox will demonstrate spinning and weaving. Children's activities are planned and food will be available. You can visit the museum (with its 26 rooms of Fall River county history) for $1 and a nonperishable food item to be donated to the Hot Springs food pantry!
